Every OneSight experience is my favorite- watching this storied organization transform itself into a world-class NGO had a profound impact on me. From the people I met to the success (and failures) I witnessed in real time, there's no other client like OneSight.
Watching their work in The Gambia ranks among my top life experiences. OneSight put together a justice league-style team of pros to partner with the people of The Gambia to develop what would become a national network of vision care clinics. I'm proud to have been there on day one, and after multiple perspective-shifting trips, they recently achieved their goal of opening multiple sustainable clinics across the country- all staffed by Gambians.
Being a fly on the wall during this experiment was trumped only by the pleasure of meeting a handful of the people of The Gambia. So glad to have a few of these souvenirs- stories, photos and memories to remember these times.

This summer I wanted to spend more time lending my skills to other people's endeavors. My friend Mike Moroski reached out to me earlier this year, just as he became the new executive director of Faces without Places. The non profit focused on youth homelessness was just about to rebrand themselves as UpSpring.
